Personal Training, Instruction & Consultation
For artists who incorporate photographic sources as an essential component of their design process, I offer affordable personal training, instruction and consultation in both digital graphics and fine arts in my Middletown, CT studio.
Adobe Photoshop for Artists and Photographers
Many artists use photographs for visual reference to develop ideas for finished works. Using Adobe Photoshop to enhance, combine and otherwise manipulate those images allows for unprecedented real-time creative feedback and exploration of ideas not possible with any other creative tool. Working with scanned images and/or digital photographs, I can show you how to harness the tools and techniques of the graphic design industry for personal creative development and exploration. This “new media” knowledge can later be fully realized with traditional “old media” brushes and paint, or used to create and manipulate images and type to produce personal artwork within Photoshop to output to paper or canvas.
